Congratulations to Randy Parrish for being named Hannibal Public Schools Support Staff of the Year!
Mr. Randy is the Head Custodian of Veterans Elementary School, where he has worked since 2010.
He takes great pride in having a clean, safe environment for kids and staff when they come to school; and makes sure that everyone at Veterans is aware that they can talk to him when they need anything. He shared during the selection process, "I want them [students] to be able to talk to me and let me know if there is anything I can do to help them have a great day at school."
Anyone who has the privilege of knowing Randy, is well aware that the relationships he has built with everyone around him is truly inspiring. Students gravitate toward him and his kind heart each and everyday. The pride he has in taking care of the school has inspired countless students to take on that same pride. Students will often ask to help Mr. Randy in the cafeteria when time allows.
