The Hannibal School District proudly announces Ted Sampson as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO). A lifelong Pirate with a strong background in education and esteemed member of the Hannibal community, Sampson brings valuable experience and a keen understanding of the district's needs to his new role.

Sampson, a Hannibal High School alumnus, has a long history with the district. He began working as part of the Summer Maintenance team during his college years and joined the district as a social studies teacher in 2005. His passion for education led to his appointment as Dean of Students, and eventually as Principal of Hannibal High School in 2013. Throughout his tenure, Sampson implemented innovative programs, fostered a positive learning environment, and built strong relationships with students, parents, and staff.

In his new role as COO, Sampson will oversee the operational aspects of the Hannibal School District. Working closely with administrators, faculty, staff, and community stakeholders, he will ensure the highest standards of educational excellence are maintained.

"His deep roots in our community and extensive experience as an educator make him an excellent fit for this position.
