Dear Families,
Kindergarten Readiness Camp and Extended School Year services for students who qualified will begin this coming Monday, June 2nd and run through Friday, June 13th at the Early Childhood Center. Doors will open each day at 7:45. If you are dropping off your child, we ask that you pull up to the front of the building and stay in your car. Staff members will walk your child into the building. Car rider dismissal will begin at 11:45. Again, please line up in front of the building and we will walk your child out to you. If you requested bus transportation for your child, you will be hearing from the transportation department by the end of the week with pick-up and drop-off times as well as bus stop locations for regular education kindergarten students.
Please send your child with a bookbag each day. It is also very helpful to have your child’s name either on their book bag or safety pinned to their shirt for the first few days of summer school. This is very helpful to both the transportation staff and our teachers as we learn who each student is and which classroom and bus they are assigned to.
Breakfast and lunch will be served each day. If your child has a change in transportation plans at the end of the school day, please make sure to call our office by 11:30 so we can properly communicate the changes with the teachers.
