Last night, Cooking Class learned how to make fried chicken, mashed potatoes, and cherry pie. They got to enjoy the meal family style, and it was all delicious!! 🍗🍽 🍒 🥧
In April, every student at Eugene Field and A.D. Stowell schools will be getting a BRAND NEW pair of shoes compliments of Samaritan Feet. To go with their new shoes, we thought it would be great to have a new pair of socks too. The socks can be any type, color, brand or even size (we’ve got some kids in adult size shoes). We just ask that they are new. 😁 Ask if you have any other questions. Please share the post!

HPS is thrilled to celebrate the triumphant victory of our Hannibal Pirate Wrestlers at the 2024 MSHSAA Class 3 State Championship held on Saturday, February 24th. The team's exceptional performance secured a first ever State Team Championship win for the Hannibal Wrestling Program. Additionally, it is the first Team State Championship Title for the Hannibal Pirates since 1990, marking a historic milestone for the program and the entire school district.
Please come out and help us celebrate these young men and their coaches this week. Go Pirates!!
🏆Monday, February 26 at 6 pm in Korf Gymnasium: Everyone is invited to join us for special medal presentations to honor our victorious wrestlers.
🏴☠️Tuesday, February 27: The team will be celebrated as they walk through the halls of each of our schools, receiving recognition from their peers and fellow pirates.
✨Friday, March 1: STATE CHAMPIONS PARADE starting at 4pm down Broadway. Friday is also Black and Red Day for the entire community!! ❤🏴☠️🏆

Pirate Families, After re-assessing our secondary roads, and, in an effort to keep all students safe, there will be NO SCHOOL Tuesday, January 23. Building Principals will communicate AMI (Alternative Method of Instruction) plans at the building level.

Hannibal Schools will be on a 2 hour delay for Tuesday, January 23.
Start times are as follows.
HHS and HCTC will start at 9:45 AM
HMS will start at 10 AM.
All Elementary schools will start at 10:30 AM
All morning ECC classes are canceled.
HEC morning classes are canceled.
DISMISSAL
Dismissal will be at your child's current regular time
TRANSPORTATION
Bus transportation will be provided, on a two-hour delayed schedule
Buses will follow the hard surface route only policy
Students should arrive at their bus stops two hours later than usual
LUNCH
Lunch will be at the regularly scheduled time for all students
STUDENT ABSENCE
Please follow the regular procedure and call your child’s school to report an absence
A delayed opening is subject to change if the weather or road conditions remain hazardous. The Superintendent may opt to modify the above guidelines or to close schools if the potential for hazardous conditions continues, and will send another message to notify parents.
