After learning about seat belts in ELA and Social Studies, our lab today in Science taught us about force and acceleration. Each student made their own clay person to take a test run with and without a "tape" seatbelt. Our pumpkin was our obstacle!

6th grade science is finishing up their Thermal Energy unit. Students enjoyed a little snack while experiencing how heat transfers through convection, conduction, and radiation.
Art Fundamentals' students are currently working hard at creating Claymation storyboards as part of their preparation for the upcoming 3D art unit!
🇺🇸 We are inviting Veterans to attend our Veterans Day assembly at HMS. If you have family members who are Veterans, we would love to welcome them and have them attend! The assembly will begin at 1:30pm on Nov. 10. Veterans can arrive at 1:00 at the HMS cafeteria for coffee and cookies.
